As part of the Golden Jubilee anniversary of Nana Boakye Tromo III, the paramount Chief of Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Council’s enstoolment, a beauty pageant was organized on 9th December 2017 in Duayaw-Nkwanta.
Out of the over 20 beautiful and exceptionally gorgeous ladies who participated in the pageant, Nancy Frimpomaa was crown Miss 50th Anniversary that night. Mary Adade emerged the 1st runner-up and Margaret Abrafi Brempong emerged the 2nd runner-up.
The night also saw performances from some skillful dancers and talented musicians from Duayaw-Nkwanta and it’s surrounding towns.
The guests of honor at the event was the Queen Mother of Duayaw-Nkwanta, Nana Serwaa Nyarko, and Nana Basoa.
The President of Duayaw-Nkwanta Youth Association, Mr. Samuel Nyantakyi Fosu popularly known as Jawas was the judge at the event.
